Connectivity: Turn off 5G on iPhone & Android to optimize performance

As the 5G Network has rolled out with the promise of faster data speeds, many have instead reported decreased performance even in "high signal areas" & faster battery drain on their device when 5G is active. We have experienced improved app performance in most cases when the 5G Network is turned off.

How to turn off 5G on iPhone & iPad

  1. Open settings & select Cellular.
  2. Select Cellular Data Options.
  3. Open Voice & Data & choose your desired network. Recommended: LTE

How to turn off 5G on Android

  1. Open settings & select Connections.
  2. Select Mobile Networks.
  3. Open Network Mode & choose your desired network. Recommended: LTE

How to turn off 5G on Google Pixel

  1. Open settings & select Network & Internet.
  2. Select SIMs.
  3. Open Preferred network type  & choose your desired network. Recommended: LTE
