SPOTIO Web – Version 2.59

📅 Release Date: January 16th, 2025

This update introduces two key enhancements: Multiple Roles in My Reports and Attachment-Type Custom Fields, both designed to improve reporting flexibility and streamline document management.

🚀 New Features

📊 Multiple Roles in My Reports

  • Users can now include multiple role types in a single My Report, eliminating the need to create separate reports for Managers, Sales Reps, and Admins when analyzing the same activity type.
  • Previously, reports could only be generated for one role at a time, requiring users to create and navigate between multiple reports to compare role-based performance.
  • With this update, role selection in My Reports now supports multiple roles at once, allowing for side-by-side comparisons of activity metrics across different user types.

Benefit: Saves time by reducing the number of reports needed and provides a clearer comparison of performance across roles in a single view.

📎 Attachment-Type Custom Fields

  • SPOTIO now supports Attachment-type custom fields, allowing admins to require specific attachments at key points in the sales process.
  • Previously, users could upload attachments to activities and records, but there was no way to define or require specific file types at certain stages.
  • With this update, admins can:
    • Create custom fields that require an attachment.
    • Specify what type of attachment is needed (e.g., "Signed Contract" or "Photo of Front of House").
    • Require attachments at record creation or specific pipeline stages to ensure critical files are uploaded on time.

Benefit: Ensures important documents and photos are properly captured within the workflow, reducing missed uploads and improving data accuracy.

📸 See the screenshots below for how an admin sets up an attachment-type custom field and how it appears on the web when an attachment is saved in the field.
