Overview: SPOTIO now introduces the ability to import historical activities directly into your account! Previously, while record data could be imported seamlessly, there was no direct way to bring in valuable historical activity data, such as past visits, appointments, calls, texts, and emails. This often resulted in a loss of crucial context when transitioning to SPOTIO or consolidating data from other systems. With this release, you can now effortlessly import historical activities, ensuring a complete view of your record interactions.

Key Enhancements:

• A new "Activities" option is now available within the import wizard, located in the same area as record importing. Admin users can download a dedicated "Activity Import Template" with the following predefined column headers:
  • Activity Type (e.g., Visit, Appointment, Call, Text, Email)
  • Title
  • Activity Date
  • Duration
  • All Day (Yes/No)
  • Activity Owner Email (Email address of the SPOTIO user to assign the activity to)
  • Object ID (The unique SPOTIO Record ID the activity belongs to)
  • Notes
  • Result
  • Done (Yes/No - indicating if the activity is completed or future)

• Users can simply drag and drop their completed .csv file into the import wizard. The system guides users through column matching, error detection, and a final review before the import process begins. Once imported:
• Historical activities are logged on their corresponding records within SPOTIO.
• Activities are credited to or assigned to the SPOTIO user specified in the import file.
• All activity details included in the import file (title, date, notes, result, etc.) are accurately recorded.

✅ Benefit: New SPOTIO accounts can now seamlessly bring in valuable historical interaction data, providing immediate context and a comprehensive view of their customer relationships. Existing accounts can also leverage this feature to consolidate data from other systems, ensuring no past interactions are lost. This enhancement provides a richer understanding of customer engagement, improves reporting accuracy, and ensures a complete history of interactions within SPOTIO.
