Adding in a user into SPOTIO is how you will be able to add in the different team members on your team into your account. When you are adding in the user you will need to decide their permission level as well as what territories they will have access too.
Admin: Account Admin can change company settings, billing.
Manager: Manager able to manage users within assigned territory and has full access to all pins.
Sales Rep: Sales Reps. able to create new pins and change assigned pins and see all pins within assigned territory. It is also important to know that anyone who is put as a Sale Rep will only have mobile access - they will not be able to log into the web version of SPOTIO with this permission.
When inviting any user we will need the following information. We can’t send them an invite without the following information:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Email Address
- Mobile Phone - If they are already a registered user even on a different SPOTIO account with the number you are trying to add you may receive an error here. Please contact SPOTIO support if you feel you are getting this alert in error.
It is very important to make sure that you add a mobile number rather than an office number as when the resp use SPOTIO on their mobile device they will be texted a 4 digit code to log in to SPOTIO in the field and if you put in a non-mobile phone number then they won’t get the instant code.
Global - can have access to every territory so they will see all the Lead & Closed Won Pins all throughout your system regardless of the territory or it not being in a territory.
Limited - Assign to specific territory or territories
- You can assign to one or multiple territories to a single person.
- If the rep is outside the territories they are assigned or in an area where there is no territory, they will see ‘ghost’ lead designating that there is a lead in the system that they just don’t have access too.
How’s a User Billed?
SPOTIO bills based off licenses so when you are ready to add in a new user we will look at the number of licenses that you currently have on your account and if you have an open license then the new user will fill that license seat, however if you are out of open licenses then we after a 7-day trial period the user will be assessed a pro-rated charged that for the rest of the current billing cycle.
