How do you use SPOTIO?

Follow

We have seen SPOTIO used by companies of different sizes and different industries however we have found that at the end of the day SPOTIO is used in 2 different way: tracking through the booking of an appointment or tracking full cycle sales from door knocking through won/lost.

Appointment Setting:

Do you send your reps out into the field to set appointments for themselves or others once they’ve worked a lead to a certain point? If that's the case then you will find that SPOTIO’s Appointment Setting Use Case will be the right fit for you. We often see this set up with a canvasser/closer model where you have the canvassing team set up inside SPOTIO, but may connect to another system to continue to work the lead.

In a set up like this, you will have to ask yourself one major question: When you close a deal, will you be updating the leads to reflect that, or will you leave it as an Appointment Set?

If you are going to update the lead to a closed/won lead then you may leave the Appointment Set stage as part of the active Lead Pipeline and then have the set the deal to Closed as the Won stage.  You also have the ability to set the Close Deal and Appointment Set as two Won stages.

Common Stages:

Full Sales Cycle:

If you are going to be using SPOTIO to track from the first knock/visit through to the sale or even past the point of sale, your team falls into the full cycle use of SPOTIO.  The ability to track a lead through the initial point of contact and all the conversions from one stage to another is exactly what a full sales cycle model looks like.

In a setup like this you will want to track every major milestone process from the prospecting point through when contact is made.  This will include any demos or appointments, as well as any proposals or contracts
