# Mobile App: How to Log a Visit for anearn how to log a visit for an existing record directly from the SPOTIO mobile app. Existing Record

How to Log a Visit for an Existing Record on the Map Working in a neighborhood with existing records? You can easily add your visits to existing records. Tap on the existing record on the map. Select the appropriate Visit Result. OPTIONAL Click on ADD VISIT DETAILS to add a note, update record information, or change the record's pipeline stage. Click on the Log Visit button. How to Log a Visit for an Existing Record from the List View Perhaps you searched for the record in the List view and would like to log your visit. Select the record in the List view. Select the appropriate Visit Result. Enter any details you'd like to log into the notes field. Select the appropriate Pipeline Stage if you need to update the record's stage. OPTIONAL Select SHOW ALL FIELDS if you need to update the record's information, e.g. name, phone, email, etc. Click on the LOG VISIT button.
