Search for Leads, Territories, or Places

The Search feature in SPOTIO’s Mobile App provides a quick and efficient way to locate records, territories, and places, helping you streamline your workflow while on the go.

Whether you’re looking for specific records, territories, or searching for a business location, SPOTIO makes it easy to find what you need.

Searching on the Mobile App:

Click on the Map View. This is where you can visually see your locations, territories, and records. Once there:

1. Tap on the magnifying glass icon in the bottom right.
2. Select the category you want to search by: Records, Territories, Places
3. Type in keywords in the Enter a Keyword text box.

Each searchable category will display different results you can search by which are:

1. Records
2. Territories
3. Places

The search feature is your primary tool for finding specific data on the map, such as leads, territories, and places.

• • Records: type the name of a record or account you're looking for. SPOTIO will show suggestions as you type. It's important to know that the Records search option will only suggest records already in your SPOTIO database. 
  • Territories: type the name or part of the name of a territory, SPOTIO will prompt territories labeled what's entered. 
  • Places: Search by place names, addresses, or zip codes to find a specific location. This search type is useful for finding businesses select the record. Places is paired with Google and will search the Google Place listings so you may have multiple search results.

Once you've found the result you're looking for, Select Your Search Result to be navigated to that location on the map view. SPOTIO will automatically zoom in on the selected record, territory, or place.

FAQ

What happens if I can’t find the record or territory I’m searching for?
Ensure that you’re using the correct name or address, and check for any typos. If you're still having trouble, confirm that the record or territory has been properly added to your SPOTIO database.

Can I search for multiple terms at once?
Currently, SPOTIO’s search functionality supports searching one term at a time (e.g., a specific record, territory, or address). 

How do I access a record's detailed information from the search results?
After selecting the record from the search results, you can tap on it to open the detailed view. This will give you access to contact details, activity history, and any other information associated with that record.

Is there a way to save or mark frequently searched locations for easy access later?
While SPOTIO currently doesn’t have a “save search” feature, SPOTIO does populate recent searches from within the Search feature.
