Here at SPOTIO, we understand that you may need to make adjustments to your team by adding or removing user licenses. Below you’ll learn how to remove a user by suspending their access.

Suspending A User

To suspend a user on the web app:

  1. Click on the Settings gear on the bottom left corner.
  2. Tap Users & Teams.
  3. Select the user.
  4. Toggle on the Suspend button in the User Info panel.
  5. Click Save.

Pro Tip: You can also suspend multiple users at once by clicking on the checkbox next to their name and selecting the bulk Suspend option at the top of the screen.

Permissions to suspend

Only users with administrative access may suspend another user by accessing the User Management menu. If given permission, Managers can have the ability to manage users (including suspending). The user must have an Active status in order to be suspended. Users with a Pending status have not accepted their invitations and have not activated their accounts. Due to this, they cannot be suspended.

Can users be unsuspended?

Yes. You can go back into the User Info panel, toggle off the suspend button and save. This would make the user active again.
