Lead Links: Focused on Improving Sales Rep Productivity
We’ve added new Lead Link functionality in the SPOTIO web and mobile applications that allow Deep Links to web and native apps for mobile users. Sales Admins can create Lead Links with direct to web URLs as destinations from with the SPOTIO mobile app, or if a native iOS or Android app provides methods for deep linking they can allow Sales Reps to connect directly to native apps too.
Additionally, Lead Links allows GET Header Requests for session IDs and to improve ease of transition to other apps for busy Sales Reps in the field. With GET Header Requests, admins can setup Key Values that are sent with an HTTP request when the mobile user is linking thru to the destination site.
Benefits: Once a Lead Link is created in the web app, the LINKS button appears in the Lead Details page for the mobile user. Any number of uses are open for companies with this feature. They can link to marketing materials hosted on external websites, or they can link to YouTube videos with product demos or company info. They can link to company apps where communication about work is essential (i.e., Salesforce.com or Slack are two examples).
Editions: Lead Links is available for all Editions (Team, Business and Pro).
Lead Link page in SPOTIO web app
With the SPOTIO Lead Link feature you can create a Web Link and an App Link. Both of them help mobile users connect seamlessly to other tools they use throughout their day. A web link creates a connection to a website/URL from within the SPOTIO mobile app, and an App Link creates a connection to a native iOS/Android app from within the SPOTIO mobile app.
Below you see a screenshot with three Lead Links setup in the admin screen under Settings → Lead Links.
The LinkedIn Lead Link is a web link that takes the mobile user directly to the LinkedIn website as an example.
The Slack Lead Link is an app link that takes the mobile user to a specified location in the SPOTIO version of the native iOS Slack app.

GET Request
Key and value can be entered to pass more sensitive information into the linked web application.
An example of this for Key would be the Auth Token for the web URL to give the user access and then the User ID to pass the users identification info to the application. WIth this sensitive info being passed safely to the linked URL, it prevents the user from having to enter the data. This improves sales rep productivity by improving overall ease of use.
It is specific to the customer/users system to determine what the keys and values will be.
