Users with SPOTIO's MCC have the ability to create personalized voicemails for their SPOTIO phone answering machine. This allows each rep to create customized audio messages to be played for incoming missed calls or when sent to voicemail, providing valuable information to reflect professional details, while using the SPOTIO phone feature. 

How to Set Up

Before beginning, ensure SPOTIO has access to your phone's microphone. If the app does not have permission, you will be prompted when hitting Record to Open Settings and enabling. 

To setup your personalized voice mail:

1. Open the SPOTIO mobile app.
2. Click on the Profile icon in the top left corner. 
3. Select SPOTIO Phone.
4. Toggle on Voicemail enabled.
5. Hit Record and speak your message.
6. Select Save.

Best Practices

• Keep it short and sweet between 20 and 30 seconds (if possible).
• Provide your name, company name, and available hours or alternative contact method. Don’t forget to thank the caller for calling.
• Speak clearly and with a positive tone. Listen to your message and re-record if need be.
• Update your recording when needed to reflect new hours, business location, and specials.
