SalesScreen Integration

Turn your team's SPOTIO activity into live leaderboards and competitions.

For: Admins · Where: Web app — Settings > Integrations · Last reviewed: 26 August 2026

SalesScreen turns your team's SPOTIO activity into live leaderboards, competitions and recognition — on screens in the office or on your reps' phones. When a rep logs a visit or moves a deal forward in SPOTIO, that activity flows into SalesScreen automatically..

Because SPOTIO manages this partnership directly, you can buy and administer SalesScreen through SPOTIO rather than running two vendors and two systems.

Also called: leaderboards, gamification, competitions, sales TV, recognition, Scout AI

What's included

  • Automatic activity sync from SPOTIO into SalesScreen
  • Selective Sync — control which activities count, rather than sending everything
  • Automatic user provisioning — reps get a SalesScreen account when they accept their SPOTIO invitation
  • Profile sync between the two systems
  • Deactivation parity — deactivating a user in SPOTIO deactivates them in SalesScreen
  • Scout AI at no additional cost

Before you start

  • You need admin permissions in SPOTIO.
  • You need either a SalesScreen package purchased through SPOTIO, or your own existing SalesScreen subscription.

Set it up

  1. Contact your CSM or reach out to our Support Team (support@spotio.com) to buy a SalesScreen package through SPOTIO, or to arrange a bring-your-own-account setup.
  2. SPOTIO's CX team configures the SalesScreen side and allocates your licences.
  3. In SPOTIO, go to Settings > Integrations > SalesScreen to connect the integration and configure your syncs.
  4. Choose your triggers and set up Selective Sync.
  5. Users provision automatically as they accept their SPOTIO invitations. Data starts flowing.

What can trigger a SalesScreen event

SPOTIO TRIGGER What gets sent to SalesScreen
Record Created A new lead, account, or deal is created in SPOTIO → counted as an Activity in SalesScreen (attributed to the record owner).
Record Stage Changed A record moves into a new pipeline stage (e.g. Lead → Closed Won) → counted as an Activity, attributed to whoever made the change.
Activity Scheduled A visit, call, or appointment is scheduled → counted as an Activity, attributed to the activity owner.
Activity Logged An activity is logged in the field (visit, call, etc.) → counted as an Activity in SalesScreen.
Activity Logged with a Specific Result A logged activity with a particular result (e.g. "Sold", "Demo Scheduled", "Not Home") → counted as a distinct Activity Type, so leaderboards can reward specific outcomes, not just raw volume

That last one is the useful one for most teams. Activity Logged celebrates every knock; Activity Logged with Specific Result lets you celebrate only the ones that went somewhere.

Selective Sync

Sending every activity to a leaderboard makes the leaderboard meaningless. Selective Sync lets you filter on the activities that are most important:

  • Activity conditions — for example, verified activities only
  • Record conditions — territory, record type, stage, or custom fields

Conditions combine with AND logic, so you can be specific: verified visits, in a named territory, on records past a given stage.

If you already have SalesScreen

You can connect your existing SalesScreen account and keep your current plan with them. Talk to your CSM about a bring-your-own setup.

What to do when things aren't working

  • Nothing appears in SalesScreen. Check that at least one trigger is enabled, and that your Selective Sync conditions aren't filtering out everything. AND logic narrows fast.
  • A rep has no SalesScreen account. Provisioning happens when they accept their SPOTIO invitation. Check whether the invitation is still pending.
  • A former employee still shows on a leaderboard. Deactivate them in SPOTIO — that carries through to SalesScreen.
  • The wrong activities are showing. Switch from Activity Logged to Activity Logged with Specific Result and nominate the results worth celebrating.

FAQ

Do I have to buy SalesScreen through SPOTIO?

No. You can connect an existing SalesScreen subscription. Buying through SPOTIO means one vendor, one invoice, and licences that follow your SPOTIO users automatically.

What happens when a rep leaves?

Deactivating them in SPOTIO deactivates them in SalesScreen too.

Is Scout AI really included?

Yes, at no additional cost with a SalesScreen package purchased through SPOTIO.

Example use cases

Scenario How the integration powers it

Door-knocking competition

Run a weekly contest on "verified door knocks" — reps see their standings update on the SalesScreen TV in the bullpen as they log visits in the SPOTIO mobile app.

Appointment-setting contest

Reward "Activities Logged with Result = Appointment Set." Setters see a live leaderboard; closers see who's feeding them the most pipeline.

Stage-progression incentive

Pay a coin bonus for every record that moves from Pitched → Sold. Reps see the recognition when the stage changes in SPOTIO.

Territory-level KPI scoreboard

Filter to a specific territory and a specific record type — surface a KPI scoreboard that's relevant to that team, without polluting the leaderboard with activities from other regions.

Onboarding new hires

New reps get auto-created in SalesScreen when they accept their SPOTIO invite. Their first logged visit appears on the team board — they're recognized from day one.
