Allowing SPOTIO Permissions

The first time you log in, the SPOTIO Mobile app will need to ask for some permissions.

The following screen recording demonstrates the permission prompts you'll receive for the SPOTIO app when you first log in. As as best practice, please select at least the While using the app and Allow options to enable the permissions while you are using the SPOTIO app.

Allow SPOTIO to record audio?

The audio permission will allow you to record a voicemail if your company's SPOTIO subscription includes embedded SPOTIO phone numbers.

Allow SPOTIO to find, connect to, and determine the relative position of nearby devices?

The nearby devices permission allows SPOTIO to connect to nearby devices using Bluetooth.

Allow SPOTIO to access this device's location?

The location permission allows the SPOTIO app to accurately track your device's GPS location when logging visits. This permission will ensure that your visits are verified.

Allow SPOTIO to send you notifications?

The notifications permission will ensure that you receive app notifications from SPOTIO such as communications, assignment, and engagement notifications as well as scheduled activity reminders.
